“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

He just HAD to be all smart and shit.

“My father didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.”

Zoom

Well said.

I once coined a phrase, “When in doubt zoom out”. I’ve had to keep this in mind a lot lately. I forget how easy it is to lose perspective in the midst of a busy life. We all have busy lives but one of the most important skills is to gain perspective and see the largest picture possible while still functioning in the immediate present. Anything is solvable, there is always a way to the next dream or desire in this state.
